10th & 11th September - Beginners course at Rainton Farm, Gatehouse of Fleet. There were 6 trainees under the supervision of instructor, Niall Baird.

Fortunately, the weather was dry though there were extremely strong winds which greately hampered the erection and dismantling of the marquee. One other problem arose and that was a plague of uninvited wasps.

Everyone enjoyed the weekend, including the food on offer.

23/24th April - the first training course of the year held at Loch Arthur Community, Beeswing.

7 trainees received instruction from Niall Baird. The first morning involved the stripping down of a part retaining wall and then commencing a rebuild. Building continued until around 4.00pm and was completed the following morning. Then it was onto a new section of wall with a corner

and this was completed by 3.30pm.

Fortunately, the weather remained fair and all enjoyed the weekend, including the food provided.
